About Family Crafts
So many crafts this week. I think I will begin by mexploring Eileen's canning jar art because we have dozens of those jars and then work my way down the list:
  • The Artful Crafter - Looking for canning jar art ideas and supplies? Let Eileen help you out with resources and tips.

  • Stefanie Girard's Sweater Surgery - How to sew a recycled tank and t-shirt dress inspired by one of the projects from the book Twinkle Sews by Wenlan Chia.

  • Margot Potter The Impatient Crafter - Had your eyes checked lately? Madge did...and was she surprised to find out she needs glasses!

  • Craftside-A behind-the-scenes peek at a crafty world - Craftside has a fun St. Patrick's Day necklace with a tutorial on how to make a flat coil head pin, instructions on how to make an adjustable lace up shirt alteration, a free round topped box template download and some cool Collage Lab stuff.

  • Crafty Princess Diaries - Tammy has another book review. This one looks at Pretty Little Presents, a book about stitching up small gift items.

  • Farm Girl Roots, City Girl Style - The cardmaking station is pulled together in Linda's sewing and craft room. Now she's looking forward to making some cards!

  • Mixed Media Artist - Cyndi wants to know: which of your new years resolutions are you actually going to keep?

About Family Crafts
Check out this post on the Family Crafts Forum made by a visitor named Sharon:

"Does anyone have a use for all those magnetic business cards that are on pizza boxes, phone books, etc? I have been saving them. When you purchase that kind of magnetic material it is fairly expensive. I was trying to figure out a way to remove the print to use them in crafts... I suddenly have tons of ideas but would like to hear if anyone else has done anything with these magnets."

Share your ideas with Sharon. How do you, or would you, recycle business card magnets you get but don't need? Take a moment to read the entire post and read other people's suggestions, and then post a reply if you like.

About Family Crafts
Two seems to be my lucky number, meaning I seem to get better responses to the Make-It-Over craft challenges if I let them run for two weeks rather than one. I am going to test that theory this week by letting last week's craft challenge item ride for one more week. I hope you don't mind!

For those who might not remember, last week's Make-It-Over Monday craft challenge item was a bottle cap:

Please send in your bottle cap creations! You can share your simple ideas and tips using the comments feature on this blog post, but to get your project possibly featured in the next Make-It-Over Monday blog post, please submit it using this simple form. If you make the project you are submitting, take a picture of it and submit the photo. Some of the submitted ideas will be shared in the next Make-It-Over Monday blog post. Preference will be given to those projects that are submitted with photos. You can look through projects submitted for past challenges if you want some inspiration.

If you have questions or comments about this craft challenge, use the comment feature below. Suggestions regarding this feature? Again, use the comments feature to post your suggestions; and, thanks for playing along. If you want a reminder when Make-It-Over challenges are posted, sign up for the Family Crafts newsletter.

About Family Crafts
March is National Craft Month. What a terrific reason to celebrate! For those of us who love to craft, why not vow to try a new crafting technique, or maybe you can teach someone how to do your favorite craft. I think National Craft Month can also be the perfect excuse to pull all those half-finished projects out of their hiding places and get them done. For those who don't make crafts, what better reason to start crafting? What will you do to celebrate National Craft Month?
